This is a very special episode! I have the honour and absolute pleasure of having no other than the legend, Oliver Percovich, the founder of Skateistan, which has been empowering children through skateboarding and education in Afghanistan, Cambodia and South Africa.! In 2007, fate took him to Kabul, Afghanistan, with 3 skateboards in his suitcase and before long, he started skateboarding on the streets of Kabul.
Long story short, he has been able to use skateboarding as not only an outlet to provide hope and entertainment for kids but also to give them a chance at attending a proper school. In the process, he's opened 3 schools in Afghanistan as well as in South Africa and Cambodia with plans to open in Jordan in the near future. This is one of THE most interesting talks I've had with an incredible human being. Do not miss this one!

Hello and welcome to the Leaders With A Heart podcast, in this first episode, I'd like to introduce myself and tell you about my vision and reason for starting this podcast. This journey started over a year ago, first on Youtube on my Youtube Channel of the same name and after a year and over 110 powerful and inspiring episode with Heart Centered Entrepreneurs from around the world, I believe it is time for me to also share those wonderful messages of doing good on audio format.
In these episodes, you will hear me have heart to heart conversations with truly Enlightened Entrepreneurs who are building impactful businesses, businesses with a cause, a purpose and a heart. My objective with this is to share these wonderful stories and messages to inspire other entrepreneurs to do good with their businesses as well so that together, we can create a better world.
